The 25th Kings Own Borderers (Later Kings Own Scottish Borderers) Officers Shoulder Belt Plate. 1840-1855 One of the most attractive Shoulder Belt Plates ever worn. A matted gilt back plate with the prancing White Horse and Sphinx in silver. The motto “In Veritate Religionis Confido” in pierced gilt over a Royal Blue Enamel. A beautiful item.
