    1914-15 Star, British War Medal and Victory Medal (14651. PTE. A.WESTWELL. C. GDS.) Private Allan Westwell of the Coldstream Guards entered theatre of France 3rd October 1915. Notes advised recipient ad been wounded and awarded Silver Wound Badge. Entry logged in as B30294 as gunshot wound to head. Recipient was discharged under Para 392 under Kings Regulations. Medal index card notes 1914-15 Star was issued originally with the incorrect surname of Wistwell. Star returned and re-issued with correct surname named to Westwell (with copy MIC, medal rolls and SWB roll).
