WW2 RAF/USAAF/SOE/AIRBORNE 43 A/B SILK ESCAPE MAP. A very nice example of the 43 series sheet A/B escape map. This map covers most of France, Belgium, Holland, Germany into Switzerland, and France into Spain. As issued to Allied Forces during WW2, and found in escape map purses.
Made from a fine silk-like material, the map has no major damage or condition issues we can see. The map has a sealed edge which is normal to see on such maps. The main image is I believe screen printed and is in good condition. It is in very nice condition and perfectly legible, with good color. A very nice condition map, perfect for display in any RAF/USAAF/SOE/AIRBORNE collection, display, or museum.
