WW2 RAF/USAAF/SOE/AIRBORNE 43 E/F SILK ESCAPE MAP. A very nice example of the 43 series sheet E/F escape map. This map covers most of Western Europe, as issued to Allied Forces during WW2.
Made from fine silk-like material, the map has no major damage or condition issues we can see, there is one very small tear approximately 1cm in one of the middle folds. The map has a stitched edge which is normal to see on such maps. The main image is I believe screen printed and is in good condition. It is in very nice condition and perfectly legible and visible with good color. A very nice condition map, perfect for display in any RAF/USAAF/SOE/AIRBORNE collection, display, or museum.
