About this item
Kingdom of Egypt Golden Order of the Nile 3rd Class Boxed - Instigated by King Fuad the second (1868 - 1936) this order was given from 1922. It comes with its original box with ribbon and a miniature medal of the order and a miniature of another award (not with these). The information I was given when I acquired this many years ago, was that it was awarded to Mr. R.W. Walsh who was Chief Engineer on the first Aswan Dam when it underwent renovation in 1929-1934.
