Rather interesting group awarded to Acting Corporal Horace Lindon Pryor of the 1st/6th Devon Regiment. British War Medal & Victory Medal (203183 A.CPL. H. L. PRYOR. DEVON. R.) Defence Medal 1939-45 and Special Constabulary Medal (GeoVI) Clasp 'Long Service 1949'. (HORACE L. PRYOR). Prior to that Pryor served with the 1st Duke of Cornwall's Light Infantry (DCLI) followed by service with the 16th Devon's with rank of private. Record indicates recipient was placed on the 'Z' Reserve List on the 30th March 1920. The medal Pair for the Great War was his only entitlement. Medals mounted on original pin. (with cop MIC and medal roll)
