F/LT L.F. Belton D.F.C. Original Artwork. This Framed Artwork was draw by F/Lt Belton D.F.C. The picture depicts the Sterling aircraft that he piloted on a mission of France on 8th May 1944 to supply the French Ressistance Prior to the D-Day landings 6th June 1944.
Titled: "Sterling OJ-E of 149 (East India) Sqn Supply drop to the resistance, near Bourgeois 8 May 1944." 149 Sqn were based at R.A.F. Methwood Norfolk. The Drop Location BOURG is situated just North of Bordeaux. The image size is 16.5"x12"(42cmx30.5cm). Frame size 21"x17.5" (53cmx45cm)
