Royal Flying Corps Sweetheart Photograph Frame

An interesting Royal Flying Corps Photograph Frame, made from the tip of a propeller blade.

Given the heart shaped aperture, it seems likely that his was produced for a Sweetheart, originally containing a picture of the soldier/airman who gifted it. 

This attractive piece no longer has any glass (if it ever had any) and the stand/strut at the rear seems like an old replacement, although it works very well. Missing some screws at the back, although it still functions as it should, and like the glass, easily added if the new owner desires.

The frame itself measures 8.25 inches tall.
