About this item
A Christmas card from the 9th battalion parachute regiment. This is dated Christmas 1946 and has been sent from the old city in Jerusalem, now Israel. The battalion was there during the British mandate and the eventual transition to full Jewish and Israeli power. Their role was to keep law and order and to separate the warring factions. The card is self is in good condition and has a dedication from the soldier. please view photographs.
