An official American press photograph on a large format of a downed P 47 thunderbolt, fighter. The aircraft was downed during the German Ardennes offensive in the winter of 1944/45 it has full annotation to the reverse side, explaining the circumstances of the aircraft demise. A wonderful rare photograph measures 26 x 20 cms.
