About this item
The last of this small collection of Kriegsmarine officer’s Car Pennants is that of a Division Commander.
Measuring approximately 295mm in length and 200mm at the halyard end the Pennant is constructed with three cotton panels in the national colours with a golden anchor of machine chain stitched composition at centre.
At the halyard a linen sleeve houses a non magnetic halyard with magnetic clips at either end.
Overall condition is very good with some spotting no doubt cause by exposure to rain whilst in use and some small nicks possibly due perhaps to contact with foliage.
A rather rare Pennant.
