About this item
49) A very good original WW1 British army solid brass bore viewer. The outside is excellent, the cover maker marked “Gilbert”. It shows a few minor dings and dents but nothing bad. the chain is excellent. the fold out brass handle is perfect and moves smoothly. It is WD arrow marked although the stamp is not the best. The viewer and mirror are excellent. these were produced in WW12 but will have still been a useful item for use in WW2
