About this item
Introduced on the 20th January 1943 this is the Car pennant of a Kriegsmarine Regimental Commander.
The double sided Pennant is constructed with three horizontal stripes, two in black smooth cotton with a central stripe in white ribbed cotton
At center a machine embroidered anchor is trimmed with golden chain stitching.
At the halyard end a white linen sleeve holds the halyard which has two magnetic clips for attachment to the flag pole.
The fly, including the halyard sleeve, measures approximately 310mm x 190mm.
An excellent example with no damage.
