A very nice displayable example of a WW2 single sided Japanese Good Luck Flag ( Yosegaki Hinomaru) measuring 96cms x 72cms.
Complete with its ties it appears to relate to a sailor, Takasia Yamada, and wishing him good luck on his first voyage and long journey.
Made of cotton, overall condition is very good with one small L shaped repair which I have shown in the images.
