Interwar / WW2 ATA Pattern S Lewiss Flying Helmet.
A rare original black leather flying helmet made by Lewiss, retaining original gosport tubes. The overall condition is good, leather retains a good colour and supple.
Lining with ink size stamp 7 1/8.
One small rip see photograph. Chrome furniture good.
This pattern of flying helmet was popular during the 1930’s and is often seen used by pilots of the Air Transport Auxiliary during WW2.
