About this item
An original Royal Air Force MS-22001 Oxygen Mask Hose which dates from the 1950s.
This hose was used in conjunction with an MS-22001 oxygen mask during the 1950s. This pattern was introduced as a pressure demand oxygen mask which was based on the American A-13A oxygen mask which was used during the Second World War. This example features a black corrugated rubber hose of the same pattern used during WW2 with the G type and H Type oxygen masks, rather than the green American version more commonly seen. It is fitted with the MS-22001 adapter to one end which bears the RAF stores code of 6D/2003 which is followed by the War Department broad arrow.
The overall condition of the item is good with some signs of wear and age. The rubber pipe is in good condition with some minor cracking between the corrugations. Overall it displays well but please take time to study the pictures before purchasing and bear in mind that it is a vintage, pre-owned item which may have small flaws commensurate with age.
A good original example.
