About this item
An original RAF issue Bonedome carry bag, sometimes referred to as a ‘bowling ball bag’.
These bags were designed to fit the RAF Bonedome flying helmet and used for storing and carrying a helmet to save it from being scuffed or damaged.
The bag is made from a khaki coloured cotton and features two black handles and black velcro to secure the bag closed.
Inside the bag the original label is present which is white with the RAF stores code ’22c/1302469’ printed on it in black. The War Department broad arrow marking is also present to the label.
A goof original RAF item which would be nice paired with any RAF Bonedome.
