About this item
An original Royal Air Force H Type oxygen mask dated 1970 and in a size medium.
This pattern of mask was introduced in late 1944 and stayed in service for many decadres thereater. The mask is the same construction as WW2 examples and features the correct H type harness. One side strap is present and the other is missing but this could easily be sourced. The microphone is a Amplivox 13100 example as used in the post-war period. The rubber face piece features the 1970 date to one side below the microphone and is marked as a medium size to the underside.
The mask is in good condition overall and displays well. There are various signs of age and use as can be seen in the pictures.
All in all a good oxygen mask which displays well!
