WW2 Battle of Britain & Battle of France Pattern B Type Flying Helmet.
A good and classic example of the pattern of helmet worn by aircrew during the Battle of France and later Battle of Britain and the early Bomber Command Campaign. Polished brown leather, tailored with earphone covers with working original zips concealing the earphone mounts. The interior with ear donuts. Complete with leather chin strap and back strap. The exterior leather remains supple and a good colour. The interior leather lining with some staining. Overall good original sleepy condition.
