About this item
A very nice Iron Cross Second Class from the German Franco Prussian War with the rare 25-year Oakleaf clasp.
Parade mounted, the reverse with a vertical safety pin attached to a red felt section the Cross itself showing the 1870 date, the reverse with the 1813 date of institution.
The nonmagnetic, perhaps silver clasp is attached to the ribbon by two folded prongs, the Cross suspended from a loop hidden by the ribbon.
