About this item
An Invitation Card to attend an Annual Reunion Party of Popski’s Private Army on 2nd December and held at the Three Hussars in Vienna.
A soft card format, the front cover measures 137mm x 115mm and carries the image of the P.P.A. Cap Badge. The inside cover is written in ink, “Lt. Cl. V. Peniakoff (Popski) Commissioner’s Staff, A.C.A. Vienna C.?. F, the second page showing details of the venue.
Austria was the final involvement of P.P.A. in WW2 prior to being disbanded and a fitting venue for a reunion. The Three Hussars is still in existence, a picture of it today is shown for interest.
Overall condition is very good but slightly soiled.
