About this item
An excellent example of a 1914 Iron Cross First Class by Wagner & Sohn, complete with its original presentation case.
The Cross is in very good condition, showing just the right amount of toning, the pin set up without damage and working perfectly. To the right of the closure catch are the maker’s initials, WS.
The Case, whilst cosmetically very good, has a modern replacement padded infill of the lid, the original lost with time, nevertheless, the Cross displays well , the case without further damage.
