    Order of the League of Mercy. Early award issue, awarded to men and women who distinguished themselves in the support of hospitals. Instituted in the 1898 but was ceased in 1946 due to the league ceasing in 1947. The award was re established in March 1999. It comes complete with original case of issue by "Elkington & Co Ltd, Medalists".
