About this item
British Army S6 Respirator / Gas Mask – Size Small
A British Army S6 respirator in good condition, commensurate with age.
The respirator is stamped 1974 LBR Co. and is also marked 76 SR-64-2 GD. It is a size small, which is less commonly found than the Normal or Large sizes.
The rubber remains soft and pliable, with some light speckling / dust from long-term storage. The elastic is still in good condition, and the lenses are fairly clean, with little in the way of obvious scratching.
The harness section is dated 1975.
Also included is a filter dated 1973, which has a small knock.
The haversack has nice clear markings and is dated 1981. It is in good condition internally, although it does have a slightly damp storage smell. The exterior has some marks from long-term storage, as shown.
Condition is good overall for age, with expected service / storage wear. Please see all photographs for condition and detail, as they form part of the description.
Weight: 1.26 kg
