    For sale is a WW2 Medal Group Inc Long Service & Good Conduct Medal To Lieut F Carr, Royal Engineers. 

    The Long Service & Good Conduct Medal is engraved on the rim “Lieut. F. Carr. R.E”. 

    This medal Group holds a set of court mounted medals including the defence medal, war medal, Long Service & Good Conduct Medal. This also comes with the mounted medal bar too. 

    Frank Carr enlisted in the Royal Engineers 16th March 1925, aged 22. He was promoted Warrant Officer 2nd class (Company Sergeant Major) on 1st December 1938. He was from the West Sussex area.

    Major Frank Carr was granted an emergency commission as Lieutenant from being a Warrant Officer 2nd class on the 5th March 1941.
