    For sale is a WW1 British Victory Medal that was issued to 29303 Pte W D Frame West Riding Regiment.   This medal is engraved with the following around the rim; “29303. Pte. W. D. Frame. W. Rid. R”   Willie Devonport Frame, was born in 1883 in Huddersfield. His permanent address was listed as 3 Diamond street, Hillhouse lane, Huddersfield. Willie had four children Hilda (born in feb 1902), Margret (born in May 1909), Sidney (born November 1911), Vera (born October 1915), Magda (born march 1917) and Arnold Edward (born October 1922).    Willie Devonport Frame enlisted into the British army on the 8th September 1915 aged 32 years and 240 days old. Upon enlisting Willie was already married by 1902.    Willie first enlisted into the 3rd west riding regiments, and then transferred to the 8th west riding regiment where he was awarded his ww1 victory medal and his ww1 British war medal. And then at a later date he was then transferred to the 10th west riding regiment.   Willie was discharged on the 2nd of February 1919, after completing 2 years, 5 months, 2 days of service.    However he rejoined the British army Territorial force on the 1st February 1921 and served a further 9 years until 31st of January 1930.    After his service in the British army, his employment shows him to be a gas world labourer.    Accompanying this medal is 8 scans of his service records.
