    A Gold coloured Helsinki 1940 Olympic medal,the Games were initially to be held in Japan but due to boycott of countries over Japanese military aggression the games were rescheduled to Helsinki Finland. Subsequently the games were cancelled due to the Russian invasion of 1939 and the subsequent winter war. The medal is a rare survivor and in fair overall condition.
