    For sale is a WW1 British Boxed Victory & War Medal To Gnr S Toft Royal Artillery. 

      This British war medal and victory medal are engraved “104550 Gnr S Toft RA”.    Sydney Toft served with the 249th siege battery royal garrison artillery under the rank as gunner (Gnr). He was entitled to a British war medal and victory medal.    245th Siege Battery was a heavy howitzer unit of Britain's Royal Garrison Artillery (RGA) raised in Essex and Suffolk during World War I. It saw active service on the Western Front at Messines and Ypres, against the German Spring Offensive, at Villers-Bretonneux and in the final Allied Hundred Days Offensive.   Accompanying this medal is 2 scans of his service records. Upon payment please let me know if you would prefer digital scans or printed copies. There is still plenty of research to be done on this medal!    These will be sent via royal mail 1st class signed for and dispatched within two working days.
