For sale is a WW1 Irish 1917-21 Service Medal With The Comrac medal Bar.
About the 1917-21 Service Medal: The Medal was instituted in January 1941 and issued with ‘COMRAC’ (Struggle) bar to those who had seen active military service and without, to ‘persons whose service is not deemed to be active military service, but who were members of Oglaigh na hEireann (Irish Republican Army), Fianna Eireann, Cumann na mBan or the Irish Citizen Army for the three months ended on the 11th of July 1921. This medal and medal bar is exceptionally rare with very little of these coming up for sale.
