About this item
For sale is a WW1 Victory Medal To Dvr Francis Drake Royal Horse Artillery & Research.
This World War One victory medal is engraved on the rim “61299 Dvr F Drake RA”. Please note this victory medal has the wrong ribbon (the ribbon for the British war medal), which was often done by the recipient. Francis Drake served with the royal artillery and royal horse artillery under the service number 61299 at the rank of driver. Francis enlisted in 1914 and was discharged in 1920. He was entitled to a British war medal and a victory medal but unfortunately only the victory medal is present. Accompanying this medal is three scans of his service records. Upon payment please let me know if you would prefer digital scans or printed copies. There is still plenty of research to be done on this medal! These will be sent via royal mail 1st class signed for and dispatched within two working days.Additional Information
