About this item
An original 1941 dated 1937 pattern webbing belt which was made by 'MECo'.
This pattern of webbing holster came into issue with the British Army in 1938 and saw use throughout the Second World War as well as in the post-war period. It has been blanco'd with a light shade of blanco which was most likely No. 97 which was popular throughout the Second World War. The original markings are still present to the inside face of the flap and includes the 1941 date and the maker's initials 'MECo' which denotes the Mills Equipment Company.
A nice original wartime dated holster in good condition and with an excellent period applied blanco finish.
