Rare Pineapple trench club head.
similar size and shape of a mills bomb with a wider head to attach a handle. and with three holes in the rim for nails to attach it to the shaft.
It was found in the Somme in the 1970s.
it has suffered from being in the ground but now in a good stable condition rare item.
