Very rare British second pattern WW2 Airborne rifle valise. Produced in green felt material with webbing straps to the top and bottom dated 1945 .Webbing pocket to hold the drop rope .
The rifle valise was intended to protect the Lee Enfield rifle during the jump. Complete with the rope which secured the rifle into the bag and ensured it would be on the ground first, followed by the soldier. In used condition with minor moth holes .
