Set of Kriegsmarine Officer's Dagger Hangers

An excellent set of Kriegsmarine Officer’s Dagger Hangers with gilded aluminium fittings.

The obverse of the straps is in ribbed black satin backed with a blue black velvet. All four sprung clips are in perfect working condition, the shorter strap with it’s regain hook and chain in place. Gilding to the fittings is virtually without loss or wear and the straps themselves are completely free from damage or stains.

Thought for over thirty years to be a perfect matched pair by their owner, close examination of the stacked lion’s head buckles reveals minor differences in the Lions manes and nostrils.
