About this item
116) A good original Italian steel helmet. this pattern was around from the 1930s into the post war years. we are not sure of the exact date of this one? The shell is excellent. It has been over painted during its service life. The over paint is flaking off in places to reveal a nice looking original early finish. The leather liner is excellent and a good size 60 (7 1/4). it has various names to it. The original leather tie is in place but broken. it has its original canvas chinstrap in place and in nice order.
