About this item
A very good example of a British 1914 Pattern Bayonet Frog.
Constructed in a heavily grained brown leather, machine sewn and reenforced with metal rivets, the Bayonet to be secured in the frog by means of a cross strap and buckle.
To the reverse, clear inspection stamps remain, the back strap marked to the maker, Moss & Stone Co.Ltd, Walsall and London. Just discernible is a 1915 date.
Overall condition is very good, with no damage and with the stitching firm and without loss.
