A very nice 1939 dated die struck aluminium Buckle and Tab by "H.Arld"(Nuernberg) which, despite the attempt by some naïve fraudster to enhance its value by applying a Kriegsmarine stamp (in my opinion) remains a very good example of an early Heer Belt Buckle.
Overall condition is also very good, the obverse with the usual loss to the painted finish and light smoothing to the detail on the eagle’s chest but free from any damage.
The tab remains supple with all stitching intact.
An early Buckle and Tab with a later added KM stamp.
