About this item
24) Excellent Early WW1 WW2 Royal Navy Officers Peaked Cap & Removeable White Cover. The outside of the cap without cover on is excellent just a little dusty and could do with a brush down. The peak is good but does show age related surface wear. The chinstrap is in place and good. The original badge and band is good but shows age related dirt and wear. The inside is good but dirty from use. It has the early green underside to the peak and spiral pattern lining. The sweat band is good but has one small section of loose stitching (see photos). It has a hand written name to it. The outer white cover is good but dirty with age. The cap is a size 6 3/8.
