Steel U shape front that could grasp the barbed wire then be bent to cut the wire. Fixing bracket that will secure to the nose cap of a WW1 Short Magazine Lee Enfield rifle . Body with maker "Decimals Ltd, Selly Oak . No 1 Mark 11 . 1917 " . Minor service wear but a very hard item of trench equipment to get hold of.
