Heer M42 NS64 Helmet in Exceptional Condition

An exceptionally nice example of a Single Decal Heer M42 Helmet. The shell is without obvious damage and retains virtually all the original factory applied granulated field grey finish, the Pocher decal clear and without loss.

Inside, the stampings are only partially discernible on the back of the skirt, but careful examination in a good light shows them to read NS64  600? making it one of the last single decal M42s produced by NS.

The liner is no less pleasing and shows little signs of use, remaining free from damage and retaining its original drawstring and size stamped 57. A dome stamp is just visible in the crown of the shell.

Finally, the chinstrap is very good, supple and without damage and with an early aluminium buckle.

It would prove difficult to upgrade this excellent example.
