About this item
A pre 1945 Kriegsmarine Visor or Peak for the 1938 pattern Cap worn by officers from the rank of Leutnant zur See through to Kapitanleutnant and differing obviously from the later Bundesmarine caps offered by the fraudsters.
Green backed and with a black leather trim below the golden wire scalloped rank border, the peak is in very good condition.
A near impossible replacement to find to complete an original cap.
NOTE. The Cap shown which also feature in Gordon Williamson's, U Boat in 100 items is shown for comparison and is NOT included in the sale
