About this item

Large olive-green cotton canvas military kit bag with reinforced upper rim, multiple brass eyelets and integral fabric closure/ carrying sections. The simple heavy-duty construction and colour are consistent with Southern African military field equipment. The visible handwritten service markings add character, although no manufacturer or dated acceptance marking is visible in the supplied photographs, so a specifically Rhodesian attribution should be treated as probable rather than definitive.
