About this item
Victory Medal (R-12176 PTE. J. WALL. K.R.RIF.C.). Awarded to R-12176 Private James Wall of the 13th Battalion Kings Royal Rifle Corps, he entered the French Theatre of Operations on the 4th September 1915. Records show he was killed in action on the 27th December 1916. Commonwealth War Graves commission records show him as being remembered on the St Vaast Post Military Cemetery, Richebourg-L’avoue. Pension records indicate his war pension was sent to his mother Mrs A. E. Richardson of Barking in Essex. (with copy MIC, medal roll, CWGC and pension record).
