    One of the nicest Original steel helmets on the market .Khaki green painted smooth texture crown .The body of the helmet painted with two narrow red bands . Black treated linen liner ,the frame dated 1939 with first pattern disk rubber crown pad .  Sprung webbing chinstrap . Some minor service wear . This marking was worn by N.F.S Leading Fireman with normally with a front transfer badge , also by Military Police .
