For sale is a WW1 The Royal Scots Regimental Postcard By Gale & Polden Ltd. This is in excellent condition and unposted.
This postcard holds the regimental emblem & insignia of the royal Scot’s. The Royal Scots is accredited as being the oldest regiment in the British Army, and tradition has it that it can trace its history back to the Roman Legions. Its present history extends back to 1633, and it is their proud boast that 66 Dumbarton's Drums," the regimental marching air. has been heard in every part of the globe. The crest of the regiment is the star of St. Andrew, and the badge of the Sphinx was won in Egypt in 1801.
