About this item
For sale is a Rare WW2 British Air Sea Jungle Rescue RAF No. 222 Group Cartoon Manual To Learn.
This guide is titled “You Must Remember This! Yourself… Air Sea Jungle Rescue. An A.S.J.R Bulletin By 222 Group”.
The foreword for this publication states;
“If you really wish to be numbered among the 'SURVIVORS, and this includes both those who are compelled to walk out 65 well as those who ditch''-it is of prime importance that you study every single item of useful information which will help to get you back alive. It is highly unlikely, however, that you can remember all the Ditching, Escape and Evasion stories that come to hand and that's the reason why this little book is recommended to your notice. Nothing can compare with actual practice, of course, but then one doesn't get many opportunities of ditching or hiking through the jungle. So the next best thing is to know your equipment and how to use it, practise drill and procedure as often as possible and remember what the Intelligence type tells you at briefing. In presenting you with the salient points in pictorial form we hope that you will study them well and leave the rest to the subconscious mind, which will, we trust, store up the 'gen' for immediate reference when needed HELP YOURSELF!

This is a very rare publication that’s filled with satire cartoons of what you should do if you want to survive weather your in the ocean, jungle or enemy territory!
This is in mostly good condition, however there is some damage to the front cover which can be seen in the photographs. The only other publication that we’ve been able to come across is one that’s in the imperial war museum archive number LBY K. 43246.
