For sale is a WW2 British Home Front Emergency Information Officer EIO Helmet, Liner & Chin Strap. This helmet is dated 1939 on the shell, and is crudely marked V.H.B which are the initials of the original owner.
This helmet was purchased from the grand daughter who said that her grandad worked in London with the ministry of information during WW2. This helmet is is in fair condition, the chinstrap has come away on the right hand side. And there is some slight damage to the liner to which can be seen in the photos for more details. This is a rare helmet!
