About this item
A very good pair of third Reich Period Private Purchase Leather Breeches, synonymous with those used by the Luftwaffe and other branches of the military such as the NSKK.
Constructed in brown leather with a wool patterened lining, the Breeches have two front thigh pockets closed by diagonal “Zipp” marked Zipps, and a central opening flap with two further Zipps, also marked DRP. There is an open coin pocket, two adjustable side straps, belt loops and a back Zipp closed pocket. Each thigh is closed by another DRP Zipp. All Zipps are in working condition, all buttons are present, one detached but found in one of the pockets.
The Deutsches Reichspatent (DRP), or German Reich Patent, ceased to be used in Germany following the end of World War II in 1945.
A good manufacture’s label remains.
Overall condition is very good with some light rubbing to the reinforced panel of the inner leg.
