About this item

This is a lovely Lt Col Highland Jacket from the late 1950's early 1960's. In excellent condition with no sign of moth

His medal ribbobs indicate he saw service in the late 1950's because of the General Service medal Ribbon ( 1918- 1962)   And saw later service in the 1960's  by the General Service Campaign Medal ( 1962- 2007 )

He was awarded the Military OBE

The tailors label where his is has been blocked out with a marker pen.  You may be able to read it if you remove the label and look from behind

You can sort of read it from the front, I can just make out the date of 1962 a good research project to trace via his medals and OBE

There is a missing bottom button would have been a flat brass button, hidden behind the Sam Browne belt

Chest 40-42    Waist 36"  across back 18" nape to hem 30" outside sleeve 26.5"
