About this item
An original pair of 1943 dated British military woollen long johns which belonged to a woman who served during WW2.
This underwear is typical of that issued to British military personnel throughout WW2. They are made from an oatmeal coloured wool and feature a side opening and button holes are located around the waist.
The original maker's label is still present to the interior and bears the manufacturer's name of 'Geo. Spencer Ltd' below which is the 'WARNORM' name often carried in these items of clothing. The 1943 date is also present as is the War Department broad arrow and the size of 2.
The long johns are in good condition overall with some signs of age etc. Please study the pictures before purchasing.
